# Identify Institutional Doctor Accounts Accurately

To prevent misclassification, Salesforce excludes Institutional Doctor (Ins Doc) records from healthcare organization (HCO) search results by default. Configure a search filter to help sales rep accurately locate Ins Doc accounts. To uphold data governance, restrict sales reps from manually creating Ins Doc accounts or deleting active affiliations.

**Where:** This feature is available in:

- Lightning Experience in Enterprise and Unlimited editions with the Life Sciences Cloud license and the Life Sciences Cloud for Customer Engagement add-on license, and where the Life Sciences Cloud for Customer Engagement managed package is installed.
- Life Sciences Cloud mobile app for iOS (iPad only).

**How:** To configure the search filter, from the Institutional Doctor Account Settings in the Admin Console, add the Ins Doc record type to search selected values.

To restrict users from creating Ins Doc accounts, from the Institutional Doctor Account Settings in Admin Console, select **Restrict users from creating accounts**.
