# Validate Loyalty Program Data Integrity

Identify discrepancies in your imported data by running prebuilt Data Processing Engine definitions. Use the definitions to validate member point balances and loyalty ledger traceability records for redeemable points with a fixed-duration expiry model.

**Where:** This change applies to Lightning Experience in Enterprise, Performance, Unlimited, and Developer editions with Loyalty Management.

**Why:** The Validate Loyalty Traceability Ledgers definition checks whether:

- The total consumed points in trace ledgers exceed the available points.
- Points were debited after expiration.
- The calculated point balance doesn't match the current point balance.
- The points in the debit ledgers and trace ledgers don't match.

The Validate Member Currency Balances for Loyalty Programs definition checks whether the sum of the member current and escrow balances doesn't match the ledger or aggregated totals.

**How:** Clone and run the Validate Member Currency Balances for Loyalty Programs and the Validate Loyalty Traceability Ledgers definitions.
