# Enforced Maximum Number of Actions in a Boxcar Request

The maximum number of Aura actions allowed within a single boxcar (XHR) request is 250. This limit was first announced in Summer ’23, but was not actively enforced.

**Where:** This change applies to Lightning Experience in Essentials, Professional, Enterprise, Performance, Unlimited, and Developer editions.

**How:** If a request exceeds 250 actions per request, the server returns an HTTP 413 response and rejects the request with an AuraClientInputException. To reduce the number of Aura actions per request, split large requests into multiple smaller requests below the limit. You can also defer or lazy load non-critical components. Alternatively, consolidate server calls to avoid redundant actions.
