# Streamline Change Approvals with Change Advisory Boards

Standardize change reviews and approvals by organizing requests with Change Advisory Boards (CAB). Automate change request approvals through structured CAB processes such as scheduling and conducting formal reviews and integrating meetings directly with the IT Service Calendar. Use existing notification channels to keep stakeholders informed.

**Where:** This change applies to Lightning Experience in Unlimited, Enterprise, and Performance Editions with Agentforce IT Service.

**Who:** To create CAB definitions, schedule meetings, and authorize change requests for CAB meetings, you need the Change Advisory Board Manager permission set.

**Why:** Replace ad hoc change approvals with a structured process that reduces deployment risks. By centralizing reviews within CABs, you make sure that reviewers vet and document every update for better stability and audit readiness.

**How:** From Setup, open Salesforce Go and go to **Change Management**. Turn on **Change Advisory Board Management** and **Change Advisory Board Approvals**.
