# Accelerate Hardware Fulfillment with the Sourcing Agent

Streamline hardware fulfillment processes by using autonomous evaluations of real-time inventory and logistical constraints. The Sourcing Agent determines the most cost-effective sourcing path for approved hardware requests, recommending whether to fulfill from existing stock or initiate new procurement.

**Where:** This change applies to Lightning Experience in Enterprise, Performance, and Unlimited editions with Agentforce IT Service.

**Why:** Boost fulfiller productivity and eliminate manual errors like redundant procurement requests and ghost transfers. The Sourcing Agent analyzes real-time inventory to generate recommendations on where to source the requested products in a service request.

**How:** To automate the process, configure the system to trigger the Sourcing Agent when a service request is approved.
