# Secure IT Hardware End-of-Life with Asset Disposal Workflows

Ensure data security, environmental responsibility, and regulatory compliance when disposing hardware. Asset managers can now group retired assets into comprehensive disposal orders and enforce critical predisposal tasks like data sanitization. They can also upload official certificates of disposal to secure an audit trail.

**Where:** This change applies to Lightning Experience in Enterprise, Performance, and Unlimited editions with Agentforce IT Service and the Hardware Asset Management add on license.

**Who:** This change applies to users with the Asset Manager, Inventory Manager, Inventory Auditor, or Finance Manager permission sets.
