# Ingest Historical File Attachments to Enhance Search

Use the Salesforce CRM connector to ingest historical file attachments into Data 360 automatically. Historical file attachments include content files, such as documentation or customer support files, that were attached to Salesforce objects before you created the Salesforce CRM connection or content data streams. Data 360 converts the historical content into searchable vectors and improves the efficiency of generative AI, analytics, and automation while preserving search context.

**Where:** This change applies to All Editions supported by Data 360.

**When:** This change is available starting in July 2026.

**How:** In Data 360 Setup, create or deploy a data stream for the Salesforce object whose attachments you want to ingest. Then deploy a Standard Content Data Bundle and an advanced search index.
