# Automate HR Access Requests and Streamline Provisioning with Flow Connectors

Use external connectors in intake and fulfillment flows to automate high-frequency HR service requests, such as querying third-party data for available software, unlocking accounts, and provisioning secure access. Eliminate manual errors in data collection and reduce help desk workload and user wait times. Service catalog items with direct API integration simplify complex configuration.

**Where:** This change applies to Lightning Experience in Unlimited, Enterprise, and Performance editions with HR Service. Requires the MuleSoft for Flow: Integrations add-on license, which is available in multiple offerings. Connections can be edited or deleted only in the Automation Lightning app.

**Who:** To create, view, edit, and delete connections, users need the Manage Integrations Connections permission.

**Why:** Automate the HR service requests that take up most of your team's time, from retrieving employee records and managing time-off workflows to syncing workforce data across systems. Connectors such as BambooHR, Deputy, or HiBob show how seamlessly external systems plug into your intake and fulfillment flows to keep data accurate and requests moving.

**How:** Configure a third-party connection and use it while installing the template.
