# Optimize Multichannel Member Engagement with Patient and Member Outreach

Help your members make better healthcare decisions by enabling your marketing teams to proactively communicate with them across multiple channels. Improve care plan adherence by automatically engaging members with one or more open care gaps through personalized emails and SMS reminders. Effectively manage member outreach campaigns with the Health Engagement app.

**Where:** This change applies to Lightning Experience in Enterprise and Unlimited editions with the Health Cloud and Data Cloud add-on licenses.

**Who:** This feature is available to users with the Health Cloud Foundation, Prompt Template User, Data Cloud Architect, Data Cloud User, Marketing Cloud Manager, and Member Self Service Agent Access permission sets.

**How:** From Setup, go to the Health Engagement Settings page, and turn on Patient and Member Outreach. Then, navigate to the Patient and Member Outreach tab and follow the guided setup.
