# Get Notified When Your License Utilization Crosses Alert Thresholds

Optimize license investment by configuring alerts to proactively manage both potential license shortfalls and unused assignments. Set thresholds to receive notifications when license assignment percentages are running high to determine if you require more licenses or can identify licenses that can be reclaimed and reallocated across your organization.

**Where:** This change applies to Lightning Experience in Enterprise and Unlimited editions.

**Who:** License Utilization is available to users with the View License Utilization user permission.

**How:** From the App Launcher, find and select **Automations**. From the Flows tab, click **New**, then enter License Utilization in Search to locate and select the License Utilization flow templates.
