# Streamline Data Migrations by Managing Gift Validations

Gain more control over your fundraising data by pausing gift validations during initial imports and delta loads. To prevent migration errors and reduce manual rework, turn off some validations for gift transactions, commitment, and schedules. Pause gift validations in Fundraising Settings, or with the Business Process API. After completing your migration, easily re-enable these rules to preserve ongoing data integrity while referencing a new, comprehensive list of all gift validation requirements.

**Where:** This change applies to Lightning Experience in Enterprise, Unlimited, and Developer editions where Fundraising is enabled.

**Who:** Users with the FundraisingAccess permission set can use Agentforce Nonprofit. To use Fundraising with Agentforce Education, turn on Fundraising in Agentforce Education, and then create and assign a permission set to your users.

**How:** From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Fundraising, and select **Fundraising Settings**. Scroll down the page to Pause Gift Validations and pause the gift validations to ease your data migration.
