# Improve Document Verification Accuracy with AI

Reduce manual effort and improve accuracy by using generative AI to verify user-submitted documents. Identify discrepancies between uploaded document content and Salesforce records, highlighting specific differences for immediate review. Faster verification helps your users accelerate onboarding and compliance workflows while maintaining high data standards.

**Where:** This change applies to Lightning Experience in Enterprise and Unlimited editions with Agentforce Financial Services (formerly Financial Services Cloud) and Document Checklist Item permission set.

**Why:** The side-by-side comparison view now includes AI-generated explanations for document mismatches, helping auditors quickly understand discrepancies between document images and Salesforce record values.

**How:** To get started, turn on Einstein Generative AI, Data 360, and Know Your Customer in Setup. Turn on **AI-Powered Document Validation** in the Advanced Document Validation Settings and create Document Validation Definitions to map document types to specific Salesforce objects. Use the Request Document Extraction Validation invocable action to extract document data and identify discrepancies, preparing the document checklist item for review.
