# Search All Node Types at Once in Flexible Hierarchies

Record name searches span all configured entity types in a hierarchy simultaneously. When your hierarchy managers or end users select a result, the entity type filter stays set to All so they can continue navigating without resetting the search. Previously, finding records across entity types required switching the entity type selector between searches.

**Where:** This change applies to Lightning Experience in Unlimited and Agentforce editions with Agentforce Financial Services (formerly Financial Services Cloud).

**How:** From the App Launcher, find and select **Flexible Hierarchies**. Open a hierarchy and select the Graph View or Grid View. In the search bar, the entity type is set to **All** by default. Enter a search term to find matching nodes across all configured entity types in one pass.
