# Balance Workloads Across Service Resources with Load Balancing

Distribute appointments across your service resources with the new Load Balancing scheduling objective in Workforce Scheduling. Balance by number of appointments or total appointment duration, and set the time window to daily, weekly, or monthly, or custom.

**Where:** This change applies to Lightning Experience in Enterprise, Performance, and Unlimited editions. Workforce Scheduling is bundled as an add-on license for Public Sector Solutions. For more information, contact your Salesforce account executive.

**How:** In Setup, enable the **Aggregate Resource Utilization** setting and configure the objective on a scheduling policy.
