# Schedule Service Appointments Visually in the New Scheduling Console by Dragging From the Map

Drag unscheduled service appointments from the map directly onto the Gantt to bring geographic context to your visual scheduling. Open the map alongside the Gantt in the Scheduling Console, or spread them across dual monitors for a flexible setup across screens.

**Where:** This feature is available in Lightning Experience and [Aura sites](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=experience.exp_cloud_basics_glossary.htm&type=5&language=en_US) accessed through Lightning Experience in Enterprise, Unlimited, and Developer editions with the Field Service managed package installed.

**How:** Assign the **Access Scheduling Console Map** permission from the Field Service Dispatcher Permissions permission set in Setup to let users drag service appointments from the map onto the Gantt.
