# Use Static Resource Images to Display Text in Screen Flows (Generally Available)

Seamlessly browse for and upload static resource images directly from within the Display Text component. In the Display Text component, you can search for existing images, upload new ones, and add alternate text all from within the screen flow.

**Where:** This change applies to [Aura, LWR, and Visualforce sites](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=experience.exp_cloud_basics_glossary.htm&type=5&language=en_US) accessed through Lightning Experience and Salesforce Classic in Enterprise, Performance, Unlimited, and Developer editions.

**Who:** To search static resource images from the Display Text component, you need the View Setup and Configuration user permission. To upload static resource images from the Display Text component, you need the Customize Application user permission.

**Why:** Static resource images are packageable, persistent, and reliable. They remain available even when you deploy the flow to a different org or Experience Cloud site. You can also track exactly where a static resource image is used. This visibility helps you maintain referential integrity and make informed decisions during long-term maintenance.

**How:** In the Display Text component, click ![The image icon in the Display Text screen component](https://sf-zdocs-cdn-prod.zoominsoftware.com/tdta-release-notes-salesforce_release_notes-262-0-0-production-enus/e945111b-3e0a-4011-accc-d5949363bfcc/salesforce_release_notes/images/automate/rn_automate_display_text_cmp_image.png), and then select **Add Image from Static Resources**.

The Image option, which is now generally available, includes some changes since the beta release. Previously, to add a static resource image, you went to the Static Resources page in Setup to get the names of existing images and then used them in the component. Now, in a streamlined two-step process, you can search for existing images, upload new ones, and add alternate text all from within the screen flow.")
