# Einstein Bots Enters Maintenance Mode

Starting August 17, 2026, Einstein Bots is in Maintenance Mode. Existing Einstein Bots continue to be supported and can be used after this date. However, no new features or enhancements will be added, and we recommend using Agentforce for new AI agent implementations.

**Where:** This change applies to Einstein Bots in Lightning Experience and Salesforce Classic in Enterprise, Performance, Unlimited, and Developer editions. Setup for Einstein Bots is available only in Lightning Experience.

**When:** Einstein Bots enters Maintenance Mode on August 17, 2026.
