# Personalize Voice Interactions Faster with Voice Call Variables in Canvas View

Give your voice agents access to call details so that they can respond with more context. After you add the Telephony connection to your agent, you can add voice call variables to it on the Variables page in Canvas view and use the variables throughout your agent’s reasoning and interactions. Previously, you could only use voice call variables with Agent Script.

**Where:** This change applies to Lightning Experience in Enterprise, Performance, Unlimited, and Developer editions with Foundations or Agentforce 1 editions.

**When:** This change is available starting the week of July 13, 2026.

**How:** Open a Service agent in Agentforce Builder and add the Telephony connection to it. Then select **Variables** from the Explorer panel. The VoiceCallId context variable appears in the Variables table. To add more voice call variables, click **Add** and then select **Add Voice Call Variable**. Select the variables that you want to add and then click **Add to Agent**.

Similar to messaging session variables, voice call variables are context variables that are mapped to object fields and only hold a value during a conversation.
