# Cover More Cases in a Condition with Else If Branches

Guide your agent down unique paths for different cases in a single condition. Previously, you could only add If and Else branches to a condition statement. Now, you also add one or more Else If branches, and the agent follows the first branch that applies.

**Where:** This change applies to Lightning Experience in Enterprise, Performance, Unlimited, and Developer editions with Foundations or Agentforce 1 editions.

**When:** This change is available starting the week of July 13, 2026.

**How:** In Agentforce Builder, open an agent and then select a subagent. In the subagent's reasoning instructions, enter / and select **If/Else (Conditional)**. Add an Else If branch for each case, and an Else branch to catch the cases that none of the branches cover.
