# Discover the Right Courses Easily with the Course Search Agent (Generally Available)

Improve student self-service and reduce the workload for advising staff with the Course Search Agent, now generally available. Help students find the courses that best suit their interests, schedules, and degree program requirements without making appointments with advisors. Help advisors research the course catalog and guide students effectively during peak registration seasons.

**Where:** This change applies to Lightning Experience in Enterprise, Unlimited, and Developer editions where the Education Cloud license and the applicable Agentforce add-on licenses are enabled.

**When:** The Course Search Agent is generally available starting in June 2026.

**Who:** Users with the Education Cloud Full Access and Education Cloud for Einstein permission sets can configure and use the Course Search Agent. Users with the Education Cloud for Experience Cloud permission set and unauthenticated guest users can use Course Search in Agentforce for Education Cloud.

**How:** Create an Agentforce Service agent for Community Customer Plus users, and create an Agentforce Employee agent for Standard users.
