# Enhance Collaborative Course Management and Student Support in Slack

Assist faculty to manage courses, engage with students and teaching assistants, and coordinate student support in Slack, where collaboration already happens. Set up the Course Operations Agent for instructors to receive advanced alerts on course loads, collaborate in automatically created course channels with syllabus canvases, and identify at-risk learners. When faculty identify support needs, they can quickly engage advising teams and create dedicated channels to coordinate timely interventions.

**Where:** This change applies to Lightning Experience in Enterprise, Unlimited, and Developer editions where these licenses and add-ons are enabled.

- Education Cloud
- Slack
- Applicable Agentforce add-on licenses

**Who:**

Users with these permission sets can configure and use the Course Operations Agent.

- Education Cloud Full Access
- Agentforce for Education Cloud Access
- Education Cloud Advanced Academic Operations Admin Access

Faculty users with these permission sets and user permissions can use the Course Operations Agent.

- Both the Agentforce for Education Cloud Access permission set and the Standard User user profile
- Access to an Agentforce Employee agent in the permission set or profile
