# Guide Students to Conflict-Free Course Schedules

Take the guesswork out of course registration by showing your students which course sections overlap. Automatic checks alert students of scheduling conflicts in the registration cart. Turn on optional time conflict enforcement to block registration for overlapping sections.

**Where:** This change applies to Lightning Experience in Enterprise, Unlimited, and Developer editions where the Education Cloud license and the Education Cloud Advanced Academic Operations for Experience Cloud add-on are enabled.

**Who:**

- Users with the Education Cloud Full Access permission set can turn on Advanced Academic Operations and assign permission sets to student users.
- Users with the Education Cloud Advanced Academic Operations Admin Access permission set can edit relevant objects.
- Users with the Education Cloud Advanced Academic Operations for Experience Cloud Access and the Education Cloud for Experience Cloud permission sets, and the Access Education Cloud Advanced Academic Operations for Experience Cloud Users user permission can register for courses on the Experience Cloud site.
