# Improve Auto Task Step Behavior by Passing Custom Parameters

Pass custom, step-specific configuration values directly from Dynamic Revenue Orchestrator (DRO) auto tasks to Salesforce Flow. Build reusable flow templates with conditional branching logic instead of creating separate flows with minor variations. For example, you can send different email content, such as friendly or harsh reminders, or pass specific milestone durations by using the configuration value.

**Where:** This change applies to Lightning Experience in Enterprise, Unlimited, and Developer editions of Agentforce Revenue Management, formerly Revenue Cloud, with the Revenue Cloud Advanced license.

**How:** When the flow runs, DRO passes the configuration value entered in the Custom Config Parameter field on the Fulfillment Step or Fulfillment Step Definition to the stepConfigParam flow variable.
