# Automate DevOps Center Workflows with Reusable AI Skills

Use DevOps Center skills to help AI coding tools set up pipelines, manage work items, and promote changes based on your team's standards. Each skill runs the required Git and Salesforce CLI commands, so you can skip describing every step or command. Use the skills in conversational interfaces, IDEs, and headless environments to automate release workflows from end-to-end.

**Where:** This change applies to Lightning Experience in Professional (API access required), Enterprise, Performance, Unlimited, and Developer Editions. DevOps Center skills aren't available in Government Cloud Plus or EU Operating Zone.

**When:** This change is available starting July 26, 2026.

**Who:** DevOps Center skills are available to all users. To run a specific skill, users need the permissions required for the DevOps Center operations that the skill performs.

**Why:** DevOps Center skills provide reusable instructions for common DevOps Center tasks.

- **dx-devops-pipeline-manage**: Create and configure pipelines, stages, environments, projects, and source control repository connections. Activate or deactivate a pipeline.
- **dx-devops-work-item-manage**: List, create, and update work items. Commit changes, update statuses, and create a review.
- **dx-devops-promote**: Validate promotion prerequisites, prepare or combine work items, promote work items or stages, and complete deployments.

**How:** Get the skills, setup instructions, and usage examples from the open-source [Salesforce Skills Library](https://github.com/forcedotcom/sf-skills) on GitHub. Before you run a skill, use Salesforce CLI to authenticate to the target DevOps Center org. Then ask your AI coding tool to create work items, check out branches, run test suites, or promote changes.
