Migrate Your DevOps Center Projects to the Next-Generation Experience (Developer Preview)

Move your DevOps Center (Managed Package) projects, pipelines, environments, and eligible work items into the next-generation DevOps Center. This automated migration preserves your managed package data, ensuring a smooth transition so that your team can continue releasing changes without interruption. You can run the migration multiple times to capture new data while automatically skipping previously migrated items to prevent duplicates.

Where: This change applies to Lightning Experience in Professional (API access required), Enterprise, Performance, Unlimited, and Developer editions.

Note Ths change is in developer preview and is subject to the Beta Services Terms at Agreements - Salesforce.com or a written Unified Pilot Agreement, if executed by Customer. Its use is at the Customer's sole discretion.

When: This change is available on a rolling basis starting on July 20, 2026.

Who: This change is available to users with the DevOps Center Admin permission.

Why: The next-generation DevOps Center delivers significant improvements over the current DevOps Center (Managed Package), offering a modern, extensible UI built with AI-powered capabilities.

How: To turn on migration, from Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter DevOps Center, and then select DevOps Center. Turn on DevOps Center Migration and accept the terms and conditions.

Note

You can continue to use the DevOps Center (Managed Package) during and after the migration. This flexibility allows you to evaluate the next-generation experience before fully transitioning your team.
