Bring data into Data 360 by either ingesting data or connecting metadata using data federation.
- Automatically Enable the Correct Permissions for Copy Field Enrichments
Now admin users or users with the Manage Profiles and Permission Sets or Manage Users permissions can automatically give the C2C user the correct permissions needed to activate copy field enrichments on most entities. Previously, you manually assigned copy field enrichments permissions. If the user doesn’t have the correct permissions to auto-enable, or if the entities require org-wide permissions, Salesforce displays the UI to manually assign permissions. - Troubleshoot Ingestion Errors with Problem Records DLOs
Automatically capture and isolate data that fails during the ingestion process with the Problem Records Data Lake Object (DLO). Instead of losing data due to formatting errors or system mismatches, Data 360 isolates these specific records into this DLO for easier troubleshooting. - Ingest Structured Data from Databricks (Generally Available)
Bring data from your Databricks lakehouse into Data 360 using batch processing for use in segmentation, activation, and identity resolution. This connector is now generally available. - Send Events with the Other Category via the Server-to-Server API
The Server-to-Server (S2S) API now supports theOtherevent category. Correctly classify events from sources such as Agentforce, IoT devices, retail POS systems, and business process workflows. - Ingest Data from Other Sources with the Server-to-Server API
The new Data from Other Sources option uses three fields (eventId,eventType, anddateTime) to make data ingestion more flexible. Ingest data from non-web and non-mobile sources, such as Agentforce conversations, POS transactions, IoT device telemetry, and self-service kiosks, by using the Server-to-Server (S2S) API. Previously, the S2S API prevented data ingestion from sources that lack browser or app context. - Track User Engagement with Time Tracking in the Data 360 Web SDK
Automatically track user engagement metrics, including time on page and session duration, with the Time Tracking feature. Monitor user activity and send events when specific engagement thresholds are reached. Use these metrics to understand how users interact with your content. - Connect to Relational Databases with Batch Ingest and Zero Copy (Generally Available)
Expand your data ecosystem and reduce data movement by connecting to relational databases using batch ingest or Zero Copy (Query Federation) in Data 360. Ten connectors spanning PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle, SQL Server, and MariaDB across AWS RDS, AWS Aurora, Azure, and Heroku are now generally available for both data integration methods. - Authenticate Databricks File Federation Connector with an Identity Provider
You can now use federated authentication when connecting to your Databricks zero copy file federation data streams by configuring Salesforce as an OIDC-based identity provider (IdP). Using Salesforce as an IdP provides a secure and robust role-based authentication when streaming data from Databricks. You can still use your Catalog Access Token for authentication when setting up a connection. - Federate Data from AWS Glue Data Catalog (Generally Available)
Use the AWS Glue Data Catalog connector to federate data from either Glue-managed Apache Iceberg tables or Glue-managed AWS S3 tables. The pattern of data federation used is called file federation. This connector is now generally available. - Ingest Guru Cards into Data 360
Ingest your organization's Guru cards into Data 360 using the connector designed for Guru. This connector is designed to ingest all cards stored in Guru and filters them based on your selection. AI agents use this content to provide reliable answers in their interactions with your users. - Extract Custom Metadata from Web Content Connectors
Define custom metadata fields to extract from pages crawled by the Web Crawler and Sitemap connectors. Use jQuery selectors to target HTML elements and extract text content or attributes from each crawled page. - Ingest Data from Microsoft Fabric into Data 360 (Generally Available)
Use the Microsoft Fabric connector to ingest data into Data 360. This connector is now generally available. - Ingest Confluence Cloud Content into Data 360 (Generally Available)
Centralize your organization's knowledge base content for AI and search experiences by ingesting unstructured content from Confluence Cloud into Data 360. With the Confluence Unstructured connector, bring in pages, blog posts, comments, and attachments using a batch connection method. This connector is now generally available. - Federate Data from Microsoft Fabric OneLake (Beta)
Use the Microsoft Fabric OneLake connector to federate data from Microsoft OneLake to Data 360. The pattern of data federation used is called file federation. - Access CRM Data in Real Time Without Pipeline Delays (Generally Available)
Eliminate data pipeline delays and access your CRM customer profiles instantly for decision-making, timely communications, and agentic conversations. Accelerated Data Ingest pushes CRM data updates directly into the real-time layer instead of routing through the standard Data 360 pipeline. - Promote Zero Copy Configurations Without Recreating Connections
Promote zero copy configurations across environments with different database structures without deleting and recreating connections. Edit the target database, schema, or table for zero copy data streams after you deploy a data kit. The connection updates in place and preserves your downstream data model mappings, segments, and activations. - Connect Data 360 to Snowflake on Azure with a Salesforce-Managed Private Network Route
Use Private Connect Multicloud for Data 360 to establish a secure, private connection between Data 360 and your Snowflake on Azure data source. Salesforce provisions and maintains the Azure private endpoints on your behalf—no AWS or Azure configuration required on your end. Each Snowflake URL supports one Data 360 tenant. - Ingest Historical File Attachments to Enhance Search
Use the Salesforce CRM connector to ingest historical file attachments into Data 360 automatically. Historical file attachments include content files, such as documentation or customer support files, that were attached to Salesforce objects before you created the Salesforce CRM connection or content data streams. Data 360 converts the historical content into searchable vectors and improves the efficiency of generative AI, analytics, and automation while preserving search context. - Ingest Google Drive Content into Data 360 with the Google Drive Unstructured Connector (Generally Available)
