# Save and Reuse Cart Configurations with Templates

Expand quote or order accuracy by using preconfigured and approved configuration templates from the existing carts. The templates are Get, Search, Apply, Save, and Delete. These templates store specific product hierarchies, attributes, and price adjustments to ensure consistent configurations. Manual bundle configuration causes inconsistent pricing and slows the sales cycle. Templates capture expert best practices to streamline onboarding and scale operations effectively. Sales reps can quickly populate new quotes and orders, cutting down on repetitive manual data entry.

**Where:** This change applies to Classic and Lightning Experience in all editions with the Communications, Media, and Energy & Utilities managed package.

**How:** Save a validated quote or order configuration as a template. Set the template status to **Approve**, and the configuration can be applied to a new target cart using global or invocable APIs.
