# Commerce Search

Sell more products by making them easier to find with up to 50 search filters and increased category associations per product. Improve product rankings by applying boost and bury logic with higher rule limits, and increasing the weight of searchable fields.

- **[Control Which Products Appear First in Search Results](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=release-notes.rn_comm_262_weight_searchable_attributes.htm&release=262.0.0&type=5)**
Influence which products appear first in search results by assigning weights to standard and custom searchable fields. Higher weights prioritize products that match those fields. For example, assigning the highest weight value of 10 to the product SKU field influences ranking behavior and can show SKU matches first. Previously, all non-semantic searchable fields were ranked equally.
- **[Boost and Bury More Products with Higher Rule Limits](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=release-notes.rn_comm_boost_bury_rules_limits.htm&release=262.0.0&type=5)**
Control what buyers see first with expanded boost and bury rule limits. Create up to 75 search keyword rules and 75 category rules to boost priority products, highlight new arrivals, and demote low-performing items for a more relevant, curated shopping experience.
- **[Boost or Bury Products with Attribute-Based Merchandising Rules](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=release-notes.rn_comm_search_attribute_boost_bury.htm&release=262.0.0&type=5)**
Dynamically boost or bury products in search results and category pages by defining rules based on product attributes, such as brand, price, or inventory level. For example, define conditions to promote high-margin items or demote low-stock products. Rules apply automatically to all matching products.
- **[Explore Buyer Search Data and Behavior with Smarter Dashboards](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=release-notes.rn_comm_search_intelligence_dashboard.htm&release=262.0.0&type=5)**
Increase search conversion rates, close catalog gaps, and make data-driven merchandising decisions by using the new Search Insights dashboard. Track search volume, zero-result queries, click-through rates, and trending search terms.
- **[Expand Product Discoverability with Increased Category Indexing Limits](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=release-notes.rn_comm_262_indexing_limit.htm&release=262.0.0&type=5)**
Make sure that your products appear in every relevant search and category view by taking advantage of increased indexing limits. The search engine now processes up to 500 category associations per product, doubled from the previous limit of 250.
- **[Index More Buyer Group Entitlements in B2B Commerce Search](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=release-notes.rn_comm_262_entitlements_catalog_item.htm&release=262.0.0&type=5)**
Support complex buyer configurations by indexing up to 10,000 buyer group entitlements per catalog item in B2B Commerce Search. Previously, the default limit was 2,000. Orgs can now apply precise entitlement-based filtering across large catalogs without exceeding the search indexing limits. Ensure your implementation schedule accounts for longer search indexing times when you process higher volumes of catalog items and buyer groups.
- **[Highlight Strategic Products with Category Page Pinning](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=release-notes.rn_comm_pin_products.htm&release=262.0.0&type=5)**
Control which products appear first on your B2B category pages. Manually pin a product to a fixed position on a category page so that it always appears in the order you want regardless of algorithmic sorting.
- **[Optimize Product Discovery with Facet Value Sorting](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=release-notes.rn_comm_facet_value_sorting.htm&release=262.0.0&type=5)**
Control how filter values appear to buyers on search results and category pages by configuring the sort order for each facet. Alphabetize attributes that buyers typically search for, such as color or brand. Use a count-based order when surfacing the categories with the highest product counts helps buyers find products faster.
