To support experiences that are driven by content metadata, such as AI-powered search for content, deploy the CMS Base data kit. This feature, now generally available, includes some changes since the beta release. You can now more easily deploy the data kit from a single, simplified page in Setup.
Where: This change applies to Lightning Experience in all editions supported by Data 360. See Data 360 edition availability.
When: This feature is available starting July 4, 2026.
How: From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter CMS, select CMS Base Data Kit, and then complete the tasks on the new setup page. After deployment, Data 360 ingests content metadata from Salesforce CMS, and several content-related data model objects (DMOs) become available.
