# Prevent Name Collisions Across Web and Mobile Connections with a Connection Alias

To avoid name collisions when you deploy a data kit package to more than one web or mobile connection, optionally define a unique 3-character connection alias.

**Where:** This feature applies to Data 360 in Enterprise, Performance, Unlimited, and Developer editions.

**When:** The connection alias feature is available starting in August 2026.

**How:** In Web and Mobile Data Connections Setup, select **Add a Connection** and optionally specify a connection alias in the **New Connection** dialog box.
