# Use the Snowflake Zero-Copy V2 Connector for Enhanced Data Sharing

Share data with Snowflake using the Snowflake zero-copy V2 connector. Authenticate with OIDC and act on change data with streams and tasks. Create a data share and a Snowflake V2 data share target, link them, and query your data as a mounted Snowflake database without duplicating it.

**Where:** This change applies to Data 360 Developer, Enterprise, Performance, and Unlimited editions. This change isn’t available in Government Cloud.

**When:** This functionality is available in sandbox and production environments on a rolling basis starting in August 2026.

Important You can’t create a legacy Snowflake data share target. Migrate existing data shares that use a legacy Snowflake data share target to a Snowflake V2 data share target. Verify the connection and make sure that data shares linked to the Snowflake V2 data share target work before you unlink them from the legacy Snowflake data share target. Downstream pipelines and dashboards then keep receiving data without interruption.
