Why: Data 360 includes built-in chunking strategies, but they don't always suit every content pattern or retrieval goal. For more control, for example, keeping related sections together in complex PDFs, author a custom Python chunking function by using code extension and use it as the chunking strategy in your search index.
How: To customize chunking behavior to your specific business requirements, select your function as the Chunking Strategy in search index Advanced Setup.
