# Ingest Data from Other Sources with the Server-to-Server API

The new **Data from Other Sources** option uses three fields (`eventId`, `eventType`, and `dateTime`) to make data ingestion more flexible. Ingest data from non-web and non-mobile sources, such as Agentforce conversations, POS transactions, IoT device telemetry, and self-service kiosks, by using the Server-to-Server (S2S) API. Previously, the S2S API prevented data ingestion from sources that lack browser or app context.

**Where:** This change applies to Data 360 in Developer, Enterprise, Performance, and Unlimited editions. This feature is also available in Government Cloud.

**When:** This feature is available starting in May 2026.

**How:** From **Data Cloud Setup**, select **Web and Mobile SDK**, and then create a **Server-to-Server** connection. Select **Data from Other Sources**, and upload your JSON event type schema with the required `eventId`, `eventType`, and `dateTime` fields.
