Automatically group similar data into meaningful cohorts with clustering models in Data 360. Train the model on structured data and run inferences through a batch data transform or streaming predict job to assign new records to saved clusters. This feature, which is now generally available, includes some changes since the last release.
Where: This change applies to Lightning Experience in Enterprise, Performance, Unlimited, and Developer editions.
When: This functionality is available starting in June 2026.
Why: Clustering uncovers patterns that are difficult to detect through manual analysis. Segment audiences, analyze products, prioritize accounts, and continuously classify new records into established clusters without labeled data. Evaluate model quality before activation with advanced training metrics, and build trust through built-in explainability that surfaces the top factors that drive each cluster assignment.
How: From the AI Models tab in Data 360, select Cluster to create a clustering model. To run inferences from your activated model, open the model’s Integrations tab, and then configure a batch data transform or predict job.
