# Use Structured Data Model Objects as Sources

Select a structured data model object (DMO) as a source to build your Intelligent Context configurations. To save and create the index, select up to 30 records from the DMO at a time.

**Where:** This change applies to Lightning Experience in Enterprise, Performance, Unlimited, and Developer editions.

**Why:** Build a precise search index directly from structured data without reformatting and converting it to a file. For example, index your employee records stored in a DMO to power an internal support agent that answers questions by using up-to-date structured data. No manual file exports are required.

**When:** This feature is available starting in August 2026.
