Push Flare Content into Data 360

Import your organization's MadCap Flare technical documentation into Data 360 using the Flare Push Connector. Configure Flare to publish HTML5 content via SFTP to a Data 360 staging area, where it's automatically ingested, harmonized, and indexed for semantic search so that Agentforce agents can use it to answer questions.

Where: This change applies to Lightning Experience in Enterprise, Performance, Unlimited, and Developer editions with Data 360.

When: This feature is generally available as of August 2026.

Who: The change is available to users with a System Administrator profile or the Data Cloud Architect permission set.

Why: Push Connectors introduce a new data ingestion pattern for Data 360. Instead of Data 360 pulling data from external systems, you configure the source system to push content to Data 360 when and how you choose. This approach gives you more control over when and how content is published, making it ideal for content management systems like MadCap Flare where content updates follow a publishing workflow.

How: Set up an SFTP staging area in Data 360 and generate SSH keys. Configure MadCap Flare to push HTML5 content to the staging area whenever you publish. In Data 360, create a Push Connector pointing to your staging area, then create an Unstructured Data Lake Object (UDLO) to process the incoming content. Optionally, enable content harmonization and semantic search to make your documentation searchable across your organization.
