# View a New Metadata Sync Status for Schema Version Mismatches

When your Data 360 home org and companion org have mismatched schema versions, Data Cloud One now shows a new Schema Version Error status so that you can quickly identify why metadata syncing paused. Already synced metadata remains fully usable while the mismatch is unresolved, and syncing resumes when the schema versions match again. Previously, you couldn't distinguish a schema version mismatch from other sync failures.

**Where:** This change applies to Data 360 Enterprise, Performance, Unlimited, and Developer editions.

**When:** This feature is available in June 2026.
