# Process Complex Tables with Docling Parser and LLM-based Image Processing

Enhance retrieval augmented generation (RAG) responses with information extracted from complex table layouts, such as tables with merged cells, nested headers, or multi-page table splits. When you select the Docling parser with LLM-based image processing for documents with complex tables, Data 360 chunks the information optimally. This process preserves the context throughout and reduces hallucinations.

**Where:** This change applies to Data 360 in Enterprise, Performance, Unlimited, and Developer editions.

**When:** This feature is available starting July 2026. Not available in Government Cloud.

**How:** In Data 360, when you configure a search index, select the Docling Parser. Then, turn on image processing in your chunking strategies to process complex tables by using an LLM.
