Get consolidated invoicing for multiple invoices, and issue refunds automatically for cancellations or negative amendments. Pass Level 2 and 3 data to payment gateways through Apex adapters. Generate one-click payment links against your invoices to give your buyers a seamless payment experience.
- Group Invoices of an Account into a Single Payment Request
Combine multiple invoices of an account into a single payment request. The invoices are grouped based on currency, saved payment method, and due date window. When you generate invoices, Billing automatically generates a single payment schedule and payment schedule item for the invoices. This enhancement helps your customers save transaction fees by making a single payment request for multiple invoices. - Initiate Automated Refunds on Negative and Canceled Invoices
Your customers can now automatically initiate refunds on transactions that are canceled or have negative amendments. Billing calculates the correct refund amount based on the original invoice, and the amendment or cancellation invoice, and then settles the original invoice with a credit memo. - Send Level 2 and Level 3 Data for Payments Made Through Apex Adapters
You can now include Level 2 and Level 3 enhanced data in your payment requests to payment gateways. This feature enables Billing to pass detailed transaction information, such as line items, shipping details, and tax metadata, directly to payment gateways through Apex adapters. When the payments batch engine runs, it automatically includes the enhanced metadata in the payment gateway logs. By providing this granular data, your business can qualify for lower interchange fees for transactions. - Generate Pay Now Links and Associate Payments with Business Accounts
Associate invoice payments with the correct business account by generating Pay Now links. The payment and any saved payment methods are automatically associated with the correct business account in Billing. When customers pay as a guest by using a new payment method, they can save it for future use. - Expand Your Payment Options via the Billing Portal
Customers can now save and process payments with additional set of payment methods. In addition to credit cards and Automated Clearing House (ACH), the Billing portal now supports digital wallets, such as Apple Pay and Google Pay, and bank debit methods, such as SEPA Debit and BACS Debit. It also supports buy now, pay later options including Klarna and Afterpay. These methods are available through Stripe and Adyen payment gateways. Customers can pay invoices and save a payment method for future use to streamline repeat payments.
