# Change from Higher to Lower Billing Frequencies on New Sale Orders and Quotes

Your sales representatives can update the billing frequency on new sale orders and quotes, from longer pricing terms such as semi-annual or annual, to shorter billing cycles such as monthly or quarterly, and vice versa. When the order is activated, Billing automatically generates accurate billing schedules with appropriate billing period amounts based on the updated billing frequency.

**Where:** This change applies to Lightning Experience in Enterprise, Unlimited, and Developer editions of Agentforce Revenue Management, formerly Revenue Cloud, with the Revenue Cloud Advanced or Revenue Cloud Billing license.

**Who:** To change billing frequencies, you need the Billing Admin or the Billing Operations User permission set.

**How:** Make sure that the Change Billing Frequency checkbox is enabled on the billing treatment associated with the order product. Then, in the Billing Information section of the Order Product record, change the billing frequency to any billing cycle, such as Monthly, Quarterly, Semi-Annual, or Annual.
