# Batch Management

Get better control over Batch Management workflows with CSV support and a new operator for filtering records.

- **[Process Record Updates at Scale with CSV Upload](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=release-notes.rn_batch_management_csv.htm&release=262.0.0&type=5)**
Handle large-scale record updates by uploading a CSV file of unique identifiers directly to a batch job. Bypass traditional database query limits by using asynchronous processing to handle up to 50,000 records per upload without complex filter logic.
- **[Refine Record Selection with Enhanced IN Operator Support](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=release-notes.rn_batch_management_operator.htm&release=262.0.0&type=5)**
Process specific records directly from business workflows by passing a collection of record IDs into a batch job. Replace simple text variables with dynamic collection variables by using the IN operator to increase filtering precision and target only the records selected for the business workflow. Pass a list of up to 200 selected records directly into a batch job run to make accurate data updates and reduce the risk of unintended changes.
- **[Track Cancellation Progress with the Canceling Status](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=release-notes.rn_batch_management_canceling_status.htm&release=262.0.0&type=5)**
Batch runs now show the Canceling status while the in-progress batch job parts finish processing when you cancel a batch job. After all in-progress batch job parts complete, the batch run status changes to Canceled. The Canceling status is available only for certain process types depending on your licenses.
- **[Changed API Tooling Objects for Batch Management](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=release-notes.rn_batch_management_tooling_api_changes.htm&release=262.0.0&type=5)**
Learn more about the changed metadata types in Batch Management.
- **[Changed Objects for Monitor Workflow Service](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=release-notes.rn_batch_management_changed_objects.htm&release=262.0.0&type=5)**
Do more with the updated Monitor Workflow Services objects.
