# Establish Person Accounts for Shoppers with Shopper Profile Sync

Shopper Profile Sync connects your B2C Commerce shopper data with account records for use with other Salesforce apps. This native integration replaces custom code and manual tools with an automated system that syncs registered shoppers as person accounts or contacts. The sync adds or updates contact and account IDs on the B2C shopper profile. By anchoring shopper identities across the Salesforce Platform, you provide the foundational data needed to power Agentforce actions, personalized service, and loyalty programs.

**Where:** This change applies to B2C Commerce.

**Who:** Users who manage this sync need admin permission in both Business Manager and the associated Salesforce org.

**How:** In Business Manager, from App Launcher, go to **Administration** | **Global Preferences** | **Salesforce Connection**. If you haven’t already connected your B2C Commerce instance to your Salesforce org, follow the setup flow. Then, turn on Shopper Profile Sync, map shopper and person accounts attributes, and turn on auto-sync to begin scheduled data syncs.

Note In the June release, the AccountId field doesn’t sync to the shopper profile for existing Person Accounts. Support for this field is planned for a future release. For integration use cases, use the Contact ID of person accounts, which is synced to the shopper profile.
