Create and Manage Reusable Content with Content Blocks

Content blocks are modular, reusable units of content that you create in Page Designer and manage centrally using the Content Blocks module in Business Manager. This release introduces content blocks, the Content Blocks module for centralized lifecycle management, and an improved component panel in Page Designer.

Where: This change applies to B2C Commerce with PWA Kit, Storefront Next, SFRA, and SiteGenesis storefronts using Page Designer.

Why: Content blocks let you define reusable content components one time and add them to multiple pages. When you edit a content block, all instances update across your storefront, reducing maintenance effort and supporting consistent branding. Content blocks support targeting and scheduling so you control when and to whom content is visible. Page Designer adds a Content Blocks menu so you can browse content blocks and drag them onto pages, and a Content Blocks section appears in the Page Structure panel.

How: Create content blocks in Page Designer by saving any component or composition of components (such as images, text, and buttons) as a reusable content block. Add content blocks to page regions or to sitewide regions. After creation, manage content blocks from the new Content Blocks module by going to Merchant Tools | Content | Content Blocks. Use the module to search, filter, set targeting rules, apply bulk actions, and view usage across pages.
