26.9 Release

This B2C Commerce release occurs between August 18 and October 1, 2026.

  • Manage Commerce Apps from a Dedicated Business Manager Workspace
Discover, install, and manage Commerce Apps across every feature domain from one location. Browse the full app catalog, discover apps in a featured apps carousel, and get quick access to documentation before you install. The App Catalog brings your native, partner, and custom apps into one list and tracks each app's setup progress.
  • Honor Shopper Consents Across Notification Channels
You can create a flow so that Data Cloud syncs shopper consent preferences to B2C Commerce automatically. When a shopper changes email or text message notification preferences, a consent sync flow updates the shopper's record in B2C Commerce. Use this feature to protect shopper trust and stay compliant with consent preference regulations.
  • Build Your Consented Marketing Audience at SFRA Checkout
SFRA storefronts now support shopper consent capture at checkout. Capture consents at the moment shoppers place their orders without interrupting order placement.
  • Access Tools from One Place with the Business Manager Utility Bar
Reach your most-used tools from anywhere in Business Manager with the Utility Bar. Review alerts, access tools, preview a storefront, and manage your user preferences, all from a single bar. Previously, these tools were on the Business Manager header.
  • Manage Multiple Tax Items on a Basket Line Item
Track up to 10 individual tax items on a basket line item, in addition to the standard aggregated tax value. Each tax item includes an ID, value, and rate, and depending on your requirements, can capture the taxes that apply to where you do business, such as federal, state, or district. Tax items automatically sum into the existing aggregated tax fields without adding fields at the order-totals level, so you manage either the aggregated tax field or the individual tax items, not both.
  • Avoid Data Residency and Privacy Issues with Salesforce Connection
Before you connect your B2C Commerce instance to a Salesforce org, an advisory message appears if the regions don’t match, or if B2C Commerce can’t determine the region. Review the advisory message and verify that your cross-region configuration meets data residency and privacy requirements.
  • Allow Traffic from Search Engine and Other Verified Bots with eCDN Rules
Match verified bots—search engines, AI crawlers, feed fetchers, and others—with two new fields in eCDN custom firewall and rate limiting rules.
  • Customize Product Readiness Checks
Make sure that products are ready for sale on your storefront by adding custom attributes to consider before publishing. In addition to the standard readiness check, you can select up to 20 attributes to determine that each product meets your catalog standards before it's marked storefront-ready.
  • Detect Leaked Credentials with eCDN Rules
Five new Cloudflare Leaked Credentials Detection fields let you challenge or block login attempts that submit previously exposed credentials.
  • Follow Requests Across Services with Traces (Beta)
Now you can follow a single request in Log Center as it travels across B2C Commerce services. The new Traces page (Beta) shows the end-to-end path of a request and the time spent in each service, so you can pinpoint where latency or errors occur without stitching together separate logs. Search traces by service and time period, open a trace to read its nested span waterfall, and share a view with a colleague through a copyable link.
  • Build New Customer Realms on SCAPI Instead of OCAPI
Give new customers a single, modern REST API for their custom implementations with SCAPI, the Salesforce Commerce API. Starting September 1, 2026, Business Manager no longer offers OCAPI settings for new customer realms. SCAPI provides the long-term support and extensibility to build on. Existing customers who provision a new realm after that date and need OCAPI settings can request access by contacting Salesforce Customer Support.
  • Manage Content in Site-Wide Regions with Content Blocks (Generally Available)
Keep content consistent across the entire storefront by creating content blocks in site-wide regions in Page Designer, including headers and mega menus. Instead of recreating content for each individual page, create the content once and apply it everywhere. Site-Wide Regions for Content Blocks, now generally available, helps you maintain brand consistency and save time when updating promotional messages or navigation elements that appear site-wide. Preview your changes in Page Designer without switching user interfaces.
