# Centralize Value Mapping Management for MuleSoft for Flow: Integration

Define, manage, and track all value translation lookups in one central location. The value mapping feature enforces mapping constraints, handles missing values, and ensures the stability of your flows.

**Where:** This change applies to Salesforce Classic and Lightning Experience in Professional (with API access add-on), Performance, Enterprise, Unlimited editions with the MuleSoft for Flow: Integration add-on license and Agentforce 1 editions. Verify Agentforce 1 edition feature availability with your account executive.

**Who:** To manage MuleSoft for Flow: Integration connections, you need the Manage Integration Connections permission. For full access to flow types and features in Flow Builder—including Einstein and Agentforce for Flow—the Manage Flow permission is required. To create and edit External System Change-Triggered flows in the Automation app regardless of sharing settings, you need Manage Flow, or the Create or Edit Flows and View Flows and View All Non-Admin Flows permissions. To create and edit these flows when they are owned by or shared with you, you need the Create or Edit Flows and View Flows permissions. To use MuleSoft for Flow: Integration templates, you need the Create or Edit Flows or View Flows permission. Non-admins also need the App Framework Manage Template permission to use these templates.

**Why:** This feature helps you manage data mapping more efficiently and reliably. MuleSoft for Flow: Integration users can now centralize the definition and management of value translation lookups.

Ensure flow stability and prevent accidental service disruption by using the Dependency View to see all referencing flows. If a dependency exists, the system blocks deletion of the value map. Furthermore, you gain control over at run time behavior by defining how your flow responds when a value lookup doesn’t return a match: flow error, pass-through, or a specified default value.
