# Streamline Object Type Selection for Generic SObject Action Inputs

The action property panel now provides better context during configuration for actions with generic sObject parameters. When the action panel opens, it shows all parameters, including non-object parameters such as Text or Boolean. Object-related input parameters such as record fields appear when you select the object type for each sObject parameter.

**Where:** This change applies to Lightning Experience and Salesforce Classic. It’s available in Essentials, Pro Suite, Professional, Enterprise, Performance, Unlimited, and Developer editions.

**Why:** Previously, non-object-related input parameters appeared only after you selected objects for each sObject parameter. This delay limited access to important configuration options. Now, all non-object inputs appear immediately when you open the action property panel, while object-related inputs appear as you make selections. This workflow enhancement provides better visibility into configuration requirements from the start.

**How:** Add an action element that references an action with generic sObject parameters to your flow. The action property panel opens immediately and shows all input parameters, including non-object-related parameters. For each sObject parameter, select the object type from the picklist. The input field associated with that object appears immediately after selection. Continue selecting objects for the remaining sObject parameters and configuring all shown inputs.
