# Simplify the User Workflow with the Open a Page Action

Launch Salesforce records or any external URL directly from your flow, including between screen transitions, by adding the Open a Page action. Open related information, such as a newly created opportunity, in a separate tab without requiring users to exit the flow.

**Where:** This change applies to Lightning Experience and Salesforce Classic in Essentials, Professional, Enterprise, Performance, Unlimited, and Developer editions.

**How:** In the Properties panel, select **Open a Page**. Choose whether to open a Salesforce record or an external page, and fill out the specified fields.
