Blueprints now have enforced limits on the number of tasks, fields, and form items they can contain. These limits help you avoid the performance issues that come with oversized blueprints. When a blueprint exceeds its limits, a warning banner shows the relevant limits, on which items, and by how much. Until you resolve the issue, you can't publish the blueprint or create workflows from the blueprint.
Where: This feature applies to an Agentforce Operations workspace that's external to Salesforce for an additional cost. To purchase an Agentforce Operations license, contact your Salesforce account executive.
Why: Blueprints that are too large can slow down performance and can sometimes break. The current limits per blueprint are:
- 150 tasks
- 50 automated tasks
- 1,000 fields
- 500 items per form (including the intake form).
How: When Agentforce Operations flags a blueprint for exceeding limits, split it across linked blueprints. With linked blueprints, you can nest one blueprint with distinct subprocesses inside another, creating parent-child relationships for complex, multi-stage workflows. Each child blueprint has its own separate limits that don't count toward the parent's totals.
