# Streamline Refund Requests and Transaction Disputes

Manage overpayments, duplicate charges, and other transaction-related issues by using a prebuilt service process. Service reps can provide a smooth customer experience and resolve disputes quickly on behalf of customers by using the Transaction Dispute template from Unified Catalog, improving operational efficiency. Automate the initial intake by fetching customer financial data, capturing the required list of transactions, and categorizing disputes based on predefined reasons. Users can also upload supporting documentation and complete required assessment questionnaires in the same flow to ensure faster resolution.

**Where:** This change applies to Lightning Experience in Enterprise, Performance, Unlimited, and Developer editions with Automotive, Vehicle And Asset Finance Foundation, Industries Service Excellence, Unified Catalog, and Omnistudio Runtime enabled.

**Who:** To use this feature, users need the Automotive Foundation User, Vehicle and Asset Finance Foundation, Industry Service Excellence, Product Catalog Management Designer, Omnistudio Admin or Omnistudio User, Unified Catalog Agent, Unified Catalog Community User, and Unified Catalog Admin permission sets.

**Why:** High call volumes and fragmented data often lead to poor customer experiences during financial disputes. This prebuilt service process solves these issues by providing a single source of truth for financial account transactions. It reduces manual validation effort for service reps while offering customers a transparent way to track their cases and re-upload documents as needed.

**How:** On an Account or a Financial Account page, initiate a Transaction Dispute request from the Action Launcher. Customers can launch the service process from an Experience Cloud portal.
