# Create Automatic Idle Timesheet Entries

Automatically fill gaps between timesheet entries with idle time to ensure complete records for payroll processing. Create idle timesheet entries instead of extending existing entries, helping maintain accurate records of productive work time versus idle or transition time between tasks.

**Where:** This feature is available in Lightning Experience and the Salesforce Field Service mobile app in Enterprise, Performance, Unlimited, and Developer editions with Timesheets and Labor Cost Optimization.
